Work on the next version without touching the official one.
Every file you upload creates a numbered version. NexDok keeps the latest (“Latest”) and the official one (“Published”) apart — your team keeps working while everyone reads the current one.
The one in progress and the one that counts.
While v5 is under review, Search, Ask and downloads keep using published v4. The document page shows both: “Working file” and “Published file”.
Publishing is an explicit decision — and it leaves a trail.
An editor uploads the file and the next version is created.
The published version is still the one everyone reads.
“Publish version v5 · v4 → v5” in one step.
The previous one becomes “Previous” and the new one is indexed for Search and Ask.
Upload, publish and download as each role.
